A resign was also appeared earlier in this month by Mark Mangino after an investigation made by the school which was about the charges of maltreatment of the football players of his team. Mike Leach had an agreement of USD 12.7 million with the Texas Tech for five years but has been suspended due to his mistreatment with the players.

The hostage ordeal at Wytheville post office ended after almost nine hours when the armed man surrendered himself. 53-years-old alleged gunman has been identified by the police as Warren Gator Taylor and it is reported that he belongs to Sullivan County, Tennessee. The hostage ordeal ended when the disabled gunman wheeled himself out of the Wytheville post office and surrendered himself to the police. Police has taken him into custody.

The Wytheville mayor Trent Crewe was relieved and happy that the hostage standoff has ended peacefully. ‘I am elated that it’s over,’ he said. No one was hurt and all of the three hostages inside the post office walked out without any injury.

The ordeal started on Wednesday afternoon, when Taylor entered the Wytheville post office pushing his wheelchair. He fired a gun inside. There were almost six-seven persons inside the Wytheville post office at the time the gunman entered but some of them successfully fled. One of the hostages, according to a witness, was Wytheville post office’s supervisor.

According to the police, Taylor asked for a pizza but didn’t make any other demand. His face expression failed to reveal his motives. He looked neither livid nor displeased but he did criticize government policies and the taxes. Taylor was keeping a black bag and there were reports that he had some sort of device. Reports were circulating that his car, which was parked outside the post office, also contained some piece of equipment. The Wytheville reported earlier in the day that police was acting on an assumption about some explosives. An area of 3-4 blocks around Wytheville post office was evacuated and bomb squad checked the entire location but nothing could be confirmed.

Wytheville is a small town surrounded by Blue Ridge Mountains. It is a part of U.S. state Virginia and has a population of 8,000.

Morning Fire at Gifford School Weston, MA.

According to the details, a four-alarm fire started in the morning at Weston’s Gifford School for special children. The Gifford School is located on Boston Post Road in Weston, MA. The fire started around 6 a.m. in the Fenn Center of the school. The Fenn Center building includes the school’s science lab, gym club, cafeteria, and kitchen. The Gifford School’s chief executive Michael J. Bassichis told the reporters that no student was inside the premises of school and no one is injured in the incident.

The Weston, MA Fire Chief, David Soar, told the press that the first alarm was sounded around 6: 08 a.m. and the first units arrived at the scene within minutes. The Gifford School’s building was engulfed with heavy smoke and fire when the firefighters arrived. The firefighters used a ladder truck at the scene. Soar said that the firefighting teams tried to fight the fire from inside the building but were later asked to drive out of the building as its roof collapsed. Firefighting units from Waltham, Sudbury, Lexington, and Newton counties were seen at the scene. An MA State Police spokesman told that the troopers have blocked the road which connects Interstate 128 with Route 20 due to the fire.

The Gifford School of Weston, MA has received heavy damages from this fire and the right side of its gray, wood-framed building has been completely burned down. The school had sustained $75,000 in damages. The school principal was glad that nobody is hurt. ‘We will survive. We will rebuild,’ he said.

The cause of the fire is not known yet. The Weston Fire Department is investigating into the matter. Investigations are being carried out by MA state fire marshal’s office also. Early reports do not suggest any foul play.

‘CSI: Miami’ actor Jonathan Togo has been arrested for having a violent fight with his girlfriend. According to Los Angeles Police Department, a 911 call was made at 2:00 a.m. from Togo’s home in Hollywood Hills and police officers headed towards his house. Apparently, Jonathan Togo was indulged in an argument with his girl friend which then turned into a physical violent activity. Jonathan Togo was charged with felony and domestic violence and was arrested. He was later released for a $50,000 bail. Jonathan Togo’s girlfriend has not received any serious injuries.

Jonathan Togo is an American actor who is most commonly known for his character Ryan Wolfe in ‘CSI: Miami’. Jonathan Togo was born in Massachusetts.
