The real purpose of freedom of speech is to give equal opportunity to express viewpoint to some one who is oppressed and at a position of disadvantage. With the passage of time freedom of speech assumed a different form leading even to hurt others. The degradation of a “proud & rich white” can not be equated with the humiliation of “humble & poor black” under the cloak of “freedom of expression”. Freedom of speech is a gift to a disadvantaged rather than a tool of the powerful to exhaust his utter prejudice.

Finally, Goggle the biggest search engine asked for the apologies of first lady of US. The manipulated picture as well as the publishing site was heavily criticized not only by Afro-American community but by general public too.

In the beginning, the search engine refused to remove the photoshoped image of Michelle Obama from the site but today not only have they removed the photo, they have apologized for their mischievous and arrogant behavior.

The image which created a sense of anger all around, the picture of Michelle Obama was manipulated in a way that Michelle Obama resembles to monkey.

Everyone believes in freedom of speech, but excess of everything is bad and an activity like this is not acceptable at all.

Americans are known as civilized nation, I am not saying that this image was manipulated by an American but I am just saying that this image was published by the American Search Engine Google and at one stage they refused to remove it from their website.

“Michelle Obama Monkey Image” is no longer available on the search engine, at first they have established the reason that the image does not fall under any private policy breach hence they cannot and will not remove it but today Google not only apologized but also removed the offensive “Michelle Obama Monkey Image”.

“Freedom of speech” should not be too offensive to cross the ethical limits. What else “racism” is? A photo of the first lady depicting first lady as “monkey” is on the web and has grabbed the attention of huge number of web surfers in a prosaic and distasteful manner. But actually the attempt to humiliate the first lady is perceived as a deliberate catering of racist prejudice against the Afro-American Obama and his wife.

The irony of fate is that even Google has declined to remove the photo of the first lady from its search engine. The headline in the website showed the title “Michelle Obama on Jay Leno”: when users type Michelle Obama to search the information regarding her, the first figure that appears is her picture having facial cuts resembling a monkey. So there is great hue and cry from the web surfers who have felt offended on this racist gesture.

The protesters are of the view that this photo is backed by utter racist feelings. But Google has refused to rectify the image or remove it from the engine.

The spokesman told if they remove it from Google, it will damage the aspired value of “freedom of speech” “It is offensive to many people, but that alone is not a reason to remove it from our search index,” Google Inc. spokesman Scott Rubin said. The “Michelle Obama monkey Photo” is present on an article called Hot Girls. The blog was generated with the help of a blogger tool whose owner is Google.

Storkcraft Website is having heavy traffic from all around America and Canada. The parents are complaining about the Storkcraft people that they are totally irresponsive. All the contact numbers of Stockcraft are busy and website is also not responding. The parents are rushing for the free repair kit announced by the Storkcraft for the Cribs. Storkcraft, US consumer product safety commission and Health Canada has recalled all the Storkcraft Cribs from America and Canada after the death of four infants.

The storkcraft cribs have a technical fault which caused 110 incidents right after its distribution including the four infant’s deaths. It has been reported that Storkcraft has recalled around 2.1 million cribs from United States and Canada. It has been revealed that the Storkcraft cribs drop side plastic hardware created lots of problems; it can create a gap in the corners, which can trap the kids. It can break and infant can fell down.

After realizing this fault, the US consumer product safety commission and Storkcraft advised the parents to stop using the cribs to avoid further damages. They also told the consumers of cribs to get free repair kit from the Storkcraft outlets, by calling or through website but unfortunately the after sale service offered by Storkcraft failed badly. No response whatsoever by the manufacturer is available to assist the consumers.

Well, Storkcraft has to be very careful about this sensitive issue, if they recalled and asked the consumers to get the free repair kit, they must assist them by all means otherwise in future it would be very difficult for the Storkcraft to market any product and to regain the reputation.

Luke Ravenstahl who has been recently elected as mayor of Pittsburgh has made a public announcement that he and her wife Erin Ravenstahl have decided to separate. He told that they have been doing their best to make their wedlock intact but some unavoidable circumstances have led them to part their ways. He told that he was caught in double jeopardy between the family life and public office. The effort proved futile and they have come to the final conclusion that they should do something which is in the best interest of their family. He clarified that they decided to announce the separation publically because it is mandatory for public people to make the information public. The mayor leaked the news in an interview with KDKA-TV and told that his public life always became a stumbling block for him. He also revealed her wife never wanted him to be the mayor and she never accepted my public life style.

He revealed that her wife never liked his popularity. He told that she would have liked if he had not got the office of mayor. The couple was married in 2004 and they had a son, Cooper. When Mr.Ravenstahl was asked about different rumors about his disloyalty to her wife, he told that these are the rumors which forced them to announce the separation formally. He and her wife decided not to bear baseless stories. He told that public life’s pressures were so intense that he decided to leave the office. However, Erin told that the decision of separation was quite tough but they did it in the best interest of their family.
