Well I watched the romantic comedy Pallbearer for Gwyneth Paltrow but I must say that David Schwimmer of Friend’s fame played his role very well. The film is a light hearted romance between the lead characters and should be watched as such. Don’t expect it to be a Hi-Fi romantic film.

David Schwimmer has been mistaken as a friend of a dead guy. As he receives the call from the mother of the dead person, he cannot tell her that he is the wrong guy. As a result he has to serve as pallbearer and has to give the eulogy at the funerals also. His gaffes during the eulogy set the stage for the element of comedy in the movie. Of course he becomes involve with the mother of the dead guy. At the funerals David catches the sight of Gwyneth Paltrow, his real sweetheart. David is now torn between his love for Paltrow and his relationship with the old lady.

The movie heavily borrows some themes from “The Graduate” however the closing of the film is unique and real fun. There are many side stories running parallel to the love story of David and Gwyneth.

One of his friends is trying to tie knots with a woman whom rest of the company despises. One of David’s friends even tries to attract Paltrow attention much to the scorn of David.

Paltrow is as sweet as ever and has portrayed the role of Julie really well. David Schwimmer has also done his best to fulfill the requirements of the character.

The Pallbearer

The former intelligence officer of army Elliot Bill was executed, who killed a couple to get the love and sympathies from his girlfriend and former stripper Rebecca Gragg. Rebecca was involved in a dispute with the man killed by Bill with his girl friend. Bill received 1800 volts of electricity to get terminated from this world. He was executed by using electric chair at Greenville Correctional Centre in Jarrat and he was confirmed as dead at 09:08 Pm on Tuesday. He was the first American executed by electric chair.

Elliot Bill who killed the women by shooting her in head and the man shooting him in head, face and chest only to make his girlfriend happy.

Bill was the man who was directly involved in the capital killing of a couple in Virgina. He killed Dana Thrall 25 and his companion Robert Finch 30 in early 2001. Both of them were found dead at Woodbridge townhouse.

It was 8:45 Pm, when Bill was sitting strapped on death chair, ready to get the final treatment. His execution was witnessed by the relatives of the victims, a selected media representatives, attorney general and concerned officers. At 09:00, the officer pushed the death button to execute bill. Electricity with 1800 volts entered the Bill’s body through the chair and it remained with the bill to kill for half a minute, then a full minute burst was given with 240 volts current.

After few minutes, the physicians entered the room and examine the pulse and heart beat of bill with stethoscope and simply said 09:08. It means he is dead.

The 60 years old army man, become the oldest executed man of America through electric chair and he preferred electric chair on lethal injection to get executed.

He also gave a statement which was read after his death and that is

“The very system that I spent a lifetime defending has failed me,”

Comedian Kevin Nealon, Weeds star’s new job is to host TBS’ “Funniest Commercials of the Year Special”. Kevin Nealon would be helping audience to choose the funniest commercial from some 50 commercials, collected from around the globe. The funniest video ads include some ads that have not been viewed by general public before. Kevin Nealon is well known for his comic characters, he has also been nominated for an Emmy for his acting and writing skills in Saturday Night Live. In the weeds he is playing the character of Doug Wilson. Popular comedy movies done by the actor include Anger Management, Happy Gilmore and Aliens in the Attic.

Viewers can go to the TBS site and can vote in the favor of the commercial they liked most.

Performing Comedy is Kevin Nealon’s first love, as he graduated with the marketing degree he kept his interest in comedy alive. He played for the University’s soccer team also.

In 1984 he got the chance to pursue his love as a profession. He was offered to perform as comedian The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson.

He has also appeared in Curb Your Enthusiasm S5E4.

His experience in comedy was well suited with the concept of Funniest Commercials, as he inserts comedy between the funny commercials.

The guy has unusual creative skills and has authored a book also, whose name tells it all “Yes, You’re Pregnant, But What About Me”. The book hit the stands in 2008.

We all remember Nealon playing for $125,000 dollars in Who Wants to Be a Millionaire and lost the game when he was inches away from winning the jackpot.

“Fall to Pieces: A Memoir of Drugs, Rock ‘n’ Roll, and Mental Illness,” is shocking and emotional autobiography of Mary Forsberg Weiland written in collaboration with Larkin Warren and published by Harper Collins.

Mary Weiland writes about how she met Scot Weiland as he drove Mary to her modeling appointments. Scot Weiland was a singer and lyricist for Stone Temple Pilots and was a very talented person. Popular belief has it that Mary Weiland was a sensible and stable person and it was Scot who led Mary to become a mentally disturbed, cocaine and heroin addict. In her memoir she uncovers that the reality lies somewhere between two extremes. She had had bouts of depression before their marriage and most of the years of their marriage were filled with cocaine and heroin addiction and rehab cycles. As the couple went on to have babies, they thought that they had bid farewell to the drugs, but it was far from being true. Mary Weilanad discloses that once the couple was invited to a party by Leonrado Di Caprio, they had to wear full sleeved dress to hide the scars left by the pricks of syringes they had used to inject heroin.

But the event that really crystallized the separation was when Mary Weilland lighted Scot’s whole wardrobe. Police reached the spot and Mary was apprehended. The damage was estimated at $10,000 but Mary reveals that in fact the damage had been much more than was estimated.

She was admitted to psychiatric hospital and was diagnosed with Bipolar disorder. She discusses in detail about the misunderstood disease and what it means to live with condition.
