Dr. Anthony Galea is under suspicion of giving banned and illegal drugs to players including Tiger Woods. The drugs for which he is under suspicions are actually used by the athletes to boost performance. According to New York Times, Dr. Galea is being investigated by FBI. Doctor Galea is of Canadian origin and has been treating many renowned players like Donovan Bailey, skater Patrick Chan and many football players.

According to The Times, many banned and illegal drugs were discovered from his custody. The drugs, which were caught, are human growth hormones and Actovegin. Actovegin is banned in the United States of America. The Actovegin was discovered from his bag when he was entering the U.S. from Canada in September. He was apprehended by the Canadian police in Toronto.

The law enforcement agencies of both the countries are running their own and independent legal processes against Galea. Royal Canadian Mounted Police is probing Galea for transporting, publicizing and disposing of the illegal drugs and other crimes related to them. He is required by the Toronto court to plead his version in response to accusations made by the police. He will appear before the court on Friday. But no accusations have been proved in any forum either in the U.S. or Canada. The lawyer of Galea, Brian Greenspan, is very optimistic about the out come of the police investigation and he told that it will exonerate his client.

New York Times has reported that some sources have given an inside clue of the investigation which relates to Galea’s computer data involving illegal drugs given to different Players. Dr. Anthony Galea has ruled out such possibility.

Blanche Kiser Taylor Moore is a convicted killer from Alamance County, North Carolina. She is also an alleged serial killer. Blanche Moore was born in 1933. Here’s a brief life story of the mysterious woman:

Blanche Taylor Moore was born to P.D. Kiser. Kiser was an alcoholic and a Baptist Minister. He pushed Moore into prostitution. She was married to James N. Taylor in 1952 and the couple had two children together. She started working in Kroger as a cashier and in a period of five years Moore was promoted as the head cashier of Kroger. It was the then highest post for females at Kroger. Blanche Moore’s troubles began arising around 1962 when she indulged into an affair with Raymond Reid. Reid was the manager of that where Moore was appointed. Moore’s husband died in 1971 and after his death she started dating Reid openly. The two started having problems in their relationship in early 1980s. It is being said that Moore had another affair with Kevin Denton, the regional manager of the store, but filed a suit against him for sexual harassment. She then started meeting Dwight Moore, a pastor at Carolina United Church of Christ. She was also dating Reid at the same time. It was the year of 1986, when Reid complained of shingles. His health was getting worst day by day and eventually he gave up his life in October 1986. After the death of Reid, Moore started dating Dwight openly and the two announced their marriage. The marriage date had to be changed as Blanche Moore was diagnosed with breast cancer. The couple married in April 1989 and celebrated their honeymoon in New Jersey. After returning home from the honeymoon, Dwight went unconscious after eating a desert. He was admitted to Alamance County Hospital after two days. The doctors took a toxicology screen test and the results were surprising. The test report showed that Dwight had been poisoned with 20 lethal doses of arsenic. Dwight lost his life after spending few days in the suffering.

The police got suspicious of Blanche Moore and interviewed her during the investigation. Blanche told them both Reid and Dwight had been using arsenic to cure their depression. It firmed the investigators in their suspicion as it was an improper answer. Further investigation proved the suspicion and Blanche was charged with murder of her boyfriend Reid and her husband Dwight. The jury recommended a death sentence to the woman with poisoned injection. She is currently serving in North Carolina Correctional Institute for Women awaiting her sentence.

The moonbow is a rainbow-like phenomenon that can be viewed at only two places in the world. The two places are Cumberland Falls State Park and the other is Victoria Falls. Victoria Falls is located in southern Africa between Zambia and Zimbabwe. The pre-requisites of moonbow are “full moon” and “clear sky” otherwise moonbow is either not formed or can not be seen.

Both rainbow and moonbow have the same ingredients which are required for their formation e.g. water droplets and falling of light at a certain angle. Like rainbow, moonbow can not be formed without water droplets through which the light rays are diverged in to multi-colored bow. That’s why the moonbow can be seen only at two places where moonlight passes though the misty water vapors or droplets.

The moonbow at Cumberland Falls which is also known as the “Niagara of the South” generates the moonbow due to its 125 feet water curtain. In commemoration of Kentucky Parks and the moonbow phenomenon, the postal service issued a stamp showing the moonbow and Cumberland Falls. The envelop

contains the wordings: “the only “rainbow at night” in the Western Hemisphere”. The stamp and envelop is designed by the famous artist Ralph Bergmann. The envelop has the picture containing aerial view of Cumberland Falls.

At this event of annual celebration, more than hundred visitors, postal service staff members and other officials were present. Quite recently, (on December 1, 2009) a girl Jessi and her father have posted a recent picture of the moonbow which they observed at Virginia Beach, VA. She saw and her father took the pictures of the “moonbow rings”. The pictures are available on the net.
