Tiger Woods has muddied the waters so much that a fresh statement appearing on his website in which he has confessed his infidelity with his family, would not at all be sufficient to repair the damage. It’s the moments that make all the wealth, all the trophies and grand slams so insufficient to mend the crack in the relationships, to get all the respect and credibility back. He has announced that he is leaving the golf course for the moment. The announcement elicited a quick reaction from his biggest sponsor NIKE. The company has announced that they are standing with the golfer in the difficult time and would not be saying good bye to him, rather the golfer would find NIKE waiting for him as he would decide to return.

His confession of infidelity clearly shows his concern for his children and wife Elin Nordegren. Whether he is giving a mere lip service or the statement of infidelity shows his heartfelt emotions, only time will tell. He has thanked his fans and supporters and said that all he wants now is piece of mind and seclusion to build the family bond from the scratch.

Almost as soon as the infidelity admission came online, one of his mistresses’ intentions to hire a lawyer to sue the star has also hit the news. Kobe Bryant sustains an avulsion fracture.

Los Angeles Lakers had a brilliant victory in Friday night’s game against Minnesota Timberwolves with a score of 104-92. It was Lakers’ 11th consecutive victory. However, the Lakers’ had a scary moment in the match too, when Bryant got his figure injured with avulsion fracture.

Kobe Bryant sustained avulsion fracture when he hit the ball to steal it in the first quarter of the game. He left the game for a short time and returned in the second quarter to play for a short time. He made one shot and passed the ball to other players with his left hand and left the hall in the middle of the second quarter to get an X-ray of his fracture in the locker room. He later enter the hall for the game in third quarter after getting a tape on his finger from his coach which he called ’something foamy’. Bryant made four more shots out of 11 which were made in the second half of the game.

Bryant has a history of avulsion fractures. In early 2008, he got his pinkie of right hand got fractured. He did not miss any part of the game but complained of suffering with pain whenever the ball hit the finger.

Avulsion finger is a type of bone fracture which is not a very serious type. In Avulsion fracture, the mass of the bone tears away some fraction of bone with it. The avulsion fracture occurs as a result of severe external force application. The avulsion fracture occurs when an external force is applied to the bone due to which the stronger muscular contraction occurs. If the muscular contraction is stronger than the forces which hold the bone together, avulsion fracture occurs.

If an avulsion fraction is small, it can be treated with a support bandage only.

The Duggar family welcomes their newest family member as the Duggar mom gives birth to her 19th baby.

According to the details, the Duggar family welcomed another member in their family when Michelle Duggar gave birth to her daughter yesterday. The Duggar family named the new angel, Josie Brooklyn. Josie is the 19th kid of the Duggar family. Michelle Duggar, 42, was hospitalized in University of Arkansas for Medical Center where she gave birth to Josie in an early pregnancy. Josie was expected in March and was born three months earlier. She weighed only 1 pound and 6 ounces. Duggar was operated for a Cesarean section. The early pregnancy caused high blood pressure and hence doctor decided to do an emergency C-section surgery to save the baby.

The Duggar baby is in stable condition and is kept in neonatal intensive care unit of the hospital. Only 6 percent of total pregnancies are born so early. Doctors say that such early pregnancies can cause medical complications for the baby as organs are not developed properly. However, the development in neonatal technology helps survive kids as small as Josie Brooklyn. Michelle Duggar was suffering with severe pain in her gall bladder and was taken to the hospital immediately and doctors chose to adopt surgical method after a collaborative decision.

Michelle Duggar and husband Jim Bob have 19 kids together. The couple announced in September that they’re expecting their 19th child. Older children of the Duggar family, who have now become adults, say that it is mixed blessing to have a big family.

Medical professionals say that having too many children is not good for the health of both the baby and the mother. They say that mothers are likely to face severe medical complications after giving birth to five children.

Microsoft is buying Sentillion to add another player to its team. The software revealed its intention to buy Sentillion this week.

According to the details, Microsoft revealed in a press statement on Thursday that it plans to invest in health care software industry and has intentions to buy Sentillion. The financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed yet. It is expected that the deal will be finalized and closed in early months of 2010.

Microsoft says that it will merge the software technology of Sentillion with its existing project Amalga Unified Intelligence System (UIS) and hopes that the medical software would help clinicians in making their work fluent and would provide them a new insight into their work. UIS was designed to integrate medical databases and to make health care systems more sophisticated for the medical institutes and professionals. Microsoft claims that Amlaga UIS is currently employed in more than hundred hospitals across the country while Sentillion has been providing software to over 1,000 hospitals.

US government plans to digitize the medical records of hospitals. A research firm IDC says that US government intends to spend $ 20.4 billion on health and medical related technology.

Sentillion is a Massachusetts-based software company which is providing database management and identity access services to more than 500,000 customer companies across Europe and North America. Sentillion will continue its stay in its headquarters in Andover, MA and will continue providing its services through other products to its customers. If the deal is finalized, Microsoft will focus on merging the health care technologies of both the companies.

A 911 call made from Tiger Woods house had described her health as serious and had said that she had collapsed on the ground.

Officials at the Health Central Hospital, where Woods was admitted after he crashed his Cadillac Escalade on Thanksgiving, said the rescued woman has been released.
