The co-production film “Black Orpheus” was made in 1959. The director of the film was Marcel Camus. The film was a transformed version of a Greek legend of Orpheus and Eurydice. The movie won many awards including Palme d’Or at Cannes film festival in 1959 and many more.

The plot of the story revolves around the main character Orpheus who is engaged to a girl, Mira, with whom he goes to get the marriage license. The clerk makes Mira jealous by hinting that Orpheus has relation with another girl. But they get license. When Orpheus gets back to home, he come to know that his neighbor Serafina’s cousin has been visiting him to save her life because the “Death” was after her.

In the movie, Death has a symbolic appearance (a man wearing skeleton dress). So he rescues her from the clutches of death. Orpheus plays guitar which impresses Eurydice. He tells the old Greek story on “Orpheus and Eurydice” (the actual mythological characters in the Greek legend to whom the recent time characters of Orpheus and Eurydice are relating themselves).

The pair falls in love with each other. But both are chased by Death and Mira. Both Mira and Death wanted to kill Eurydice Then there is the carnival festival where Eurydice who is disguised in the dress of Serafina who has gone to meet some one but wanted Eurydice to pretend to be Serafina so that nobody could feel her absence.

In the festival, Orpheus ‘is bent upon Eurydice (dressed as Serafina) to have dance with her rather than with Mira. When Eurydice’s real identity is disclosed, she has to pay the penalty again and runs for her life again both from Mira and Death. But she is killed by Orpheus accidently when he turns on the power and she is electrocuted. Death tells him that Eurydice is now his property. Then Orpheus manages to have contact with Eurydice’s spirit by using an old woman’s body. He wanted to see her but she told him not to look back other wise he will never see her again. But he sees and loses her forever.

Orpheus is then killed by Mira and it is where the film ends showing remake of the Greek mythology transformed in to recent times.

The daughter of Senator Kerry has been arrested on the charge of drunk driving. Alexandra Kerry who is 36 years of age was stopped by the police officers and taken to police station for further investigation. She was found to under the influence while driving.

April Harding who is the Police officer told that she was detained for investigation for five hours and then was released on $5,000 bail. She had nothing any more to share.

John Kerry’s spokesman told that she was arrested for not having renewed driving documents and her breathalyzer test revealed that her intoxication level due to alcohol was under the limit prescribed by law and she was released then.

According to Los Angeles Times, policemen who stopped Alexandra did find her under the influence of alcohol. But later on, it turned out that her alcohol level in the bold was only .06 which is under the legal limit of .08. He told that Senator Kerry is on her daughter’s side and he will not make any statement regarding the matter.

Harding told that she had no idea whether or not she crossed the legal limit of alcohol in her blood. She added that law permits to arrest the person even if his blood shows lower levels of alcohol under the doubt of DUI provided the person drives carelessly or police officer deems it necessary to arrest him/her to avoid any potential danger.

Alexandra is the eldest daughter of John Kerry who has been the presidential candidate in 2004 elections. She is an actor as well and had played many roles in different movies. She also produces documentaries.

Thanks to Grey’s Anatomy and Chief’s drinking problem which has been attributed to “situational depression”, people are frantically searching the term on the net. Situational depression is a type of mood disorders that strikes usually at the loss of something dear and near. Perhaps mood swings are very much part and parcel of being human. But it’s important that depression be acknowledged and help is sought. There is nothing to be ashamed of if one feels blue at an event. Yes there are people around who may have better coping abilities, but coping abilities do not mean that they do not feel depressed. We are all human beings and yet we are different in so many ways. An event that makes a person depressed may not mean anything to another person and vice versa.

There are not set pattern of events that trigger the situational depression. Usually the loss of anything important gets the snowball moving.

Most important thing is to stop the snow ball before it becomes avalanche. We all go through the periods when all the cacophony of life seems meaningless humbug, we all think of suicide but it should be remembered that we are not alone. Our mood swings effect families and friends in so many ways.

Do remember that you are not what depression makes you, you can achieve more and have much more to show to the world without depression. So seek help as soon as you feel that situation is overwhelming you and do not delay the treatment like Chief did.

Police apprehended 36 years old daughter of Senator John Kerry on the suspicion that she is driving under the influence of alcohol. She was not wearing a see through dress at the moment when she was caught as some of the blogs are reporting this morning. Alexandra Kerry’s see through dress hit the news when she attended Cannes Film Festival. Even the Cannes photographs seem to be engineered.

Sen. John Kerry has backed her daughter and has said that Alexandra has not committed any crime.

Police caught Alexandra Kerry as it seemed that her driving is impaired. Alexandra claimed that she is not drunk. Her blood sample was drawn and alcohol levels were measured. The blood alcohol level was 0.06%. To charge her for DUI the level should be 0.08% or above.

Sen. John Kerry also stressed the fact that his daughter’s blood alcohol levels were w2ithin the legal limit.

However under the California laws a person can be charged for DUI if his driving is impaired, whether or not the blood alcohol levels are 0.08%.

Alexandra Kerry was stopped at about 12:30 a.m. in the night. She was released from the custody at about 6:00 A.M. in the morning at a bail of $5,000.

It is highly unlikely that she be charged for the alleged crime.

Senator Kerry is the former Presidential candidate and has two daughters Alexandra and Vanessa from his marriage which ended in 1988.

Shamita Shetty showing her… well the word or rather words to complete the sentence is unshaved p***y. Shocking as it may be the news is not new at all. And if it was so, what’s the purpose of wearing the dress all together. Okay the severest version of nymphomania had made her do all that, why has the disease resulted in she being unable to clean the parts.

With all said and done the fact is that the picture has shocked, rocked, and even flummoxed her fans. Shamita Shetty has recently said goodbye to Bigg Brother to attend the nuptials of her sister Shilpa Shetty who had her name written in history and court records kissing Richard Gere.
