Jimmy Sullivan the drummer and the backup vocalist for the band “Avenged Sevenfold” died Yesterday on Monday at his home in Southern California home.

The death news of 28-year-old Jimmy Sullivan was confirmed by the police department in a statement. The statement was released by Huntington Beach police Lt. John Domingo that goes something like this, James Owen Sullivan stage name “The Rev” appears to have died of natural causes this Monday afternoon in his Huntington Beach Home.

Huntington Beach police department were notified by the fire department officials who had responded to Jimmy Sullivan’s home about 1:05 P.M in the afternoon.

In a statement release by the Band on their website they have said that, it is a time of great sadness and with heavy hearts that have to announce the death of Jimmy Sullivan. Moreover in the published statement Band Members have mentioned that Jimmy was the best drummer of the world, but more importantly he was a best friend and brother.

They said that their thoughts and prayers are with Jimmy’s family and that they hope fans will respect the privacy of the family in this difficult time.

In the last line they said that “Jimmy will be with them forever and they love him.”

The group that formed in 1999 had won the Best New Artist’s MTV Video Music Award back in 2006.

Jimmy Sullivan, survived by his wife Leana MacFadden. The Band Members include Zachary Baker, Matthew Sanders and Jonathan Seward.

Orange County Coroner’s office is investigating the death of Jimmy Sullivan.

James Owen Sullivan, better known as “The Rev”, was found dead at his home in Huntington Beach, California, on Monday afternoon.

The year 2009 has been so terrible regarding celebrity deaths. The year 2009 claimed a lot of celebrity souls, including Farrah Fawcett, Michael Jackson, Brittany Murphy, Patrick Swayze, and several others including the recent deceased James Owen Sullivan.

The musician, 28 years of age was the group’s drummer and vocalist of “Avenged Sevenfold” the band Pinkly Smooth.

While The Orange County police investigating the reason of death was apparently from natural causes. Some versions of Internet which could not be confirmed say that The Rev could have fallen-off from his homes roof top, dressed as Santa Claus, even though Christmas had already finished some days ago.

James Owen Sullivan had a long history of drug abuse. The band issued a statement mourning the loss of “one of the best drummers in the world and their best friend and brother.

A statement published on group’s website states that, they are breaking the news with great sadness and with heavy hearts that their beloved best friend, brother and drummer for the band “James Owen Sullivan” has died. Moreover they said that, James was the best drummers of the world, but the thing which is more important than this is that he was a best friend and a brother.

Hyderabad, Dec 28 (IANS) Tension prevailed at Osmania University here Monday as police arrested more students who had launched a hunger strike demanding that the central government immediately initiate the process for the formation of Telangana state by splitting Andhra Pradesh.

Police had a tough time removing six students and shifting them to hospital as hundreds of others resisted their attempts. These students had launched a ‘fast unto death’, hours after some of their colleagues on hunger strike were shifted to a hospital by police.

A large number of policemen in riot gear including personnel of the paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) surrounded the Arts College building on the campus to arrest students on hunger strike.

Washington, Dec 28 (IANS) Nigerian Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab is being held at an undisclosed location as US investigators work on finding out what prompted the British-educated son of a Nigerian bank executive to attack a US plane on Christmas Day.

Abdulmutallab, 23, charged with attempting to set off an explosive device aboard a Northwest Airlines flight from Amsterdam to Detroit, was released from a hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Sunday after being treated for burns, the US attorney’s office in Detroit said.

Investigators were trying to retrace Abdulmutallab’s steps halfway across the globe, from the Arabian peninsula to West Africa to Britain, CNN said. Abdulmutallab claimed to have extremist ties and said the explosive device – made from a plastic explosive known as PETN – was acquired in Yemen along with instructions as to when it should be used, according to a federal security bulletin.

Once again Charlie and his third wife Brooke Mueller Sheen are in the news. Yet again Charlie Sheen is involved in domestic violence, this time with his third wife Brooke Mueller Sheen.

According to the news Charlie Sheen was arrested on Christmas Day under suspicion of Criminal mischief, menacing and assault from Aspen, Colorado.

The 44-year-old actor was being arrested by Aspen Police officers after an emergency call to 911 was made from “320 West Hallam Street” home, apparently from Brooke Mueller Sheen.

Although police have not released any alleged victim’s name but it is suspected that the caller who made the call on the morning of Christmas around 8:20 A.M to 911 was Brooke Mueller Sheen.

Charlie and Brooke Mueller Sheen were in Aspen to spend some quality time with their twin’s “Bob and Max”. Bob and Max were born to Charlie and Brooke Mueller Sheen in March this year.

So much for a quality time this Christmas for Charlie Sheen and boys. Charlie will remember this Christmas for a long, long time but for all the wrong reasons.

This is not the first time that Charlie got into trouble and got arrested for domestic violence. He was in the news often while getting divorce from his second wife Denise Richards. Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen got separated back in 2005, both had two daughters together.

Aspen police officers responded to a 911 emergency call and arrested and charged Charlie Sheen with second-degree assault, criminal mischief and menacing. According to the reports a domestic violence element coupled with his arrest.

He was released later in the evening after posted an $8,500 bond.
