Bridge to Terabithia

Bridge to Terabithia is 2007 fantasy movie aimed at children. Main cast of the film include Josh Hutchinson, Anna Sophia Robb, Zooey Deschanel, and Bailee Madison. Main character of the film is Jesse played by Josh Hutchinson. Josh feels lonely at home and is of the view that his father gives more attention to his sister. Once his sister draws a figure in his note book, this is enough for Jess to be mad at her. However Jess finds his soul mate at school in the shape of Leslie. Strolling with Leslie in the woods, the duo finds a tree house. The tree house becomes the kingdom of Terabithia for the duo. Terabithia has all the elements that are missing in the lives of Jess and Leslie. They fight animals with the shapes of their foes in school and most of all they have each other as companion.

Leslie gifts Jess a drawing box at his birthday and the friendships is further strengthened. Once Leslie and some girl at school quarrel at some matter, Jess helps Leslie and they make the girl a laughing stock. Jess helps Leslie in painting her house, as Leslies’ parents appreciate them; the feeling is totally new for Jess.

Jess is invited by his teacher for a visit to a museum. Jess goes without properly informing his parents or Leslie. As he returns, the Queen of the Terabithia is no more. Leslie has died to the utter chagrin of Jess. Leslie’s parents tell Jess that she loved him.

Jess builds a bridge to Terebithika across the river and invites her sister for the first time to visit Terabithia.
