UCLA Undie Run

For all the fans of UCLA undie run, the race would not take place this December. UCLA banned the run in July for the safety concerns. UCLA undie run was not conducted by the University officially.

The finals week is particularly stressful for the students of UCLA. The idea of an undie run was proposed a small group of students to release stress. Starting from a small group the race gained enormous popularity and some 10,000 people took part in the last runs. Usually the people who are not directly associated with the University also ran with the students.

Presumably its for the outsiders that UCLA undie run has been cancelled.

UCLA officials did their best to keep all the outsiders away from the race and to minimize the damage during the race but their efforts mostly have gone in vain. Reportedly during the previous races many instances of stealing and bloody brawls and drunk running were reported.

UCLA undie run was supposed to be an event strictly for the students to relieve the burden off their heads and refresh them for studies. However the event became so popular among masses that it was regularly attended by a lot of outsiders. Outsiders had little concern for the University property or respect for UCLA tradition and thus the whole idea was just shattered.

The officials assured that undie run has been cancelled in the best interest of the students and to minimize the damage of the University assets.

The UCLA undie run would have been conducted during this week of Decemebr had it not been cancelled.
