First Day of Winter

If you are feeling the chilled winter then it’s little early, 21st December 2009 is the first day of winter and your winter officially starts now. The freezing days are just around the corner to celebrate the Christmas. The first day of winter has started with the 21st December sets off, will force the temperature to fall little more on mercury below the freezing point. Surely you have all the arrangements done with you to face the cold music poring snow but after the first day of winter, you need more stuff with you to be warmth as it is going to be freezing day by day for a month or so.

The sun is still managing to show itself on the sky but not for the days to come. The temperature is between -2 and -6 and it is expected to go down more as the snow is also expected in the upcoming days. According to the weather experts the snow will keep on falling till the end of January 2010.

It has also been reported that a strong storm has hit the east coast of the United States of America and around 55 centimeters of snow has been recorded.

21st December 2009 is might be the shortest day of the year and believe it or not people who love winter have celebrated the first day of winter with lanterns, costumes and large puppets.

Well, this is the spirit, if its winter either camouflaging or sabotaging, it is there to celebrate…..
