Vanessa Ferlito

Vanessa received her first break through the role as a web sex worker in the film “On-Line”. She also played main character in “CSI: NY” that received great attention. There are some guest appearances on different shows e.g. “Law and Order”, “Third Watch”, and “The Sopranos”. Vanessa belongs to an Italian family but she was born in the U.S. in 1980. Since her early childhood, she faced a lot of difficult circumstances. She was the only daughter of her parents who ran a hair dressing salon. Her father passed away when she was only three years of age. Since her early childhood, she was very fond of watching movies and this passion forced him to adopt a career in the show-biz. She played many roles in different crime series on T.V. where she accepted every type of role whether it was a guest role or repeated ones. Her “stereo- typed” but sexy look helped her succeed in various voluptuous characters. She played the roles of the type of a coarse urban woman or a girlfriend of a gangster etc. she also played in “Spider Man 2″ which can be called as her most important role. After this project, she worked in a comedy movie “Nothing Like the Holidays”. Her role in “Madea Goes to Jail” was also remarkable. In 2007, she gave birth to a son. Her make-up artist put a lot of influence on her and she convinced and motivated her to be vegetarian like her (the make up artist). Now Vanessa is a strong advocate of animal rights and a vegetarian as well.
