J Lo Falls at AMAs

‘She fell on her butt but at least she’s got the JLo butt, no doubt she would bounce back up,’ was one of the comments overheard from the audience when JLo fell on her ass during her AMA performance.

AMA 2009 was held this Sunday at Los Angeles where the best moments of the year were seen. Divas like Whitney Houston and Shakira rocked on the stage, Lady Gaga and Rihanna surprised the audience with their stunning stage performances and sensational outfits, and J Lo falls – all this and much more happened at the 2009 AMA stage.

Jennifer Lopez debuted a song from her new album Love. The singer and actress performed the first song of her new album which is going to be released in January 2010. J Lo, clad in a bronze outfit, delivered a powerful performance. But despite how her singing and dancing went, the performance will be remembered for one thing and that is the fall. Now if you have missed the scene on TV you can always watch it again and again on YouTube. JLo’s dancers set up the central stage for her to climb on. She steps up onto the staircase made by their backs and jumps like a pro and the moment when her feet had to strike the floor, they slipped and made her fell on the floor on her butt. But she handled it and got up in a flick of a second. The rest of the dance went well and JLo didn’t let the audience feel that she was nervous or uncomfortable due to the ‘unfortunate’ moment.
